I created a smoother base for http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:410984.
It's scaled up though: 175% if I'm not mistaken - :$
PS: I've splitted the original stl with gears using netfabbasic as described in http://www.3dprintmd.com/print/split-an-stl-from-the-thingiverse-into-multiple-objects/
