This is simple, it's not the prettiest, but it works for me. I wanted something to hang my model helicopters on my wall and just wasn't finding anything out there right now that suited me. So I made it.

You should scale this along with a mock up model of your helicopter in scale in your slicer so that the model fits on this shelf like it's in a cradle.
