A HEPA filter box I made to help with the dust in my tinkering space.
I made the walls fairly thin for quicker printing while keeping them thick enough for some strength. I have two holes on the side of the box, larger one for a barrel jack socket and a smaller one for a toggle switch. You can use the switch to turn it on or off but I used it to switch between 12 volt and 9 volt.
It takes a 140mm PC fan. I advice getting a fan splitter so you're not cutting the wire on the fan itself. Use a good fan, I'm using Phanteks 140mm fans and that's doing well. I tried a Fractal 140mm fan before the Phanteks and it was a waste of time.
For a HEPA filter, it takes LV-h128 refills. Branded ones are fairly cheap and there are several third party ones on amazon. Should be relevant for a while. Install them with the Activated Carbon facing the fan with the fan blowing air out the back.
If you don't care about damaging the filter a little, you can put some essential oils onto the filter
