*Update - I also included duct V3 with larger cooling exhaust for larger cooling area.
Ultra light external cooling duct to prevent vibrations caused by 5015 blower. I wasn´t able to find any lightweight external cooling using 5015 blower (only berd air) so I decided to create my own prototype.
Blower is attached by Cooling sleeve on top aluminium profile using
1x M3x30 bolt
1x M3 T nut 2020
I used gooseneck tube dia. 16x12mm (tube used for cable management) about 600mm in length. I also suggest to use softer tube.
Cooling sleeve (mounted on top) weight about 9 grams of PLA.
Cooling duct mounted on gantry weight about 14 grams of PLA.
Duct is originaly created for Lotmaxx SC-10, but it should also fit Ender 3 and CR 10 without any issues. Created for Hero Me mount.
Please leave a comment if modifications would be needed. I am still working on upgrades.
*Added test of single 75 degree torture test to justify results.
