Hero8 housing with door

This is a work in progress but I thought I share it from the early stages.

I wanted a light housing hat holds the cam in place while still allowing access to all vital things.
The aim was to create an accurate fit for them cam at this stage.
The latch is still a work in progress, same for adding a slide over lens cover without affecting the front screen.

What to expect from this model and why you should not download any of it:
It is a work in progress and my attempt to create a "fluid" housing entirely in Sketchup.
The housing itslef, including the frame might still be nice to have in your collection if you like to modify it to your liking.
I included several versions of the main parts I work with right now.

For the final version I hope to include a magnetic latch or holding system for the door.
Still waiting on the tiny magnets to arrive from China though :(
