3D model of Herugrim, sword of the kings of Rohan from Lord of the Rings.
~~Currently, the model is in inches and is one piece.~~
UPDATE: Model is now in millimeters and divided into four piece. The longest piece is the grip at 12 in and the blade pieces are about 10 in.
UPDATE 2: Model has been scaled down to 32 in long. After a trial print, this feels more appropriate. The hilt and blade have been cut into more parts to make printer easier and shorter for each piece.
Future Plans:
- ~~Convert model to mm~~
- ~~Divide model into pieces to make printing easier~~
- ~~Create registration pin holes to align pieces~~
- Try to print and see what needs to be fixed (again)
