# This is the HevORT IDEX, a remix of the HevORT 3D printer. #
This remix aimed at providing a cost-effective and relatively easy-to-build, rigid Idex printer, with the added benefits of being based on a high-performance machine, fulfilling all the dual extrusion needs one might have.
###To make all this possible, a few things had to change compared to the original HevORT:###
- Completely redesigned X/Y Gantry to allow for individual extruder motion
- Switch to a cartesian style X/Y gantry
- Re-design of the printing bed to account for the added depth and width within the build chamber
Compared to the 315x315x315 mm build volume version of the HevORT, the HevORT IDEX has a build volume of 280x315x315 mm, while only adding 60 mm in depth and 87 mm in width to the overall footprint. Of course, like the original, the HevORT IDEX is also completely scalable.
###Specs:###
- 280x315x315 mm build volume (scaleable)
- 737x540x880 mm footprint (scaleable)
- rigid 3030 extr
