I needed a handle for my hex bit collection and didn't care much for the commercially available options. I don't like the stubby fat screwdrivers available and wanted something with a smaller profile that looked better as well. More like my current screwdrivers. I also still wanted it to fit into tight spaces. If you have a collection of hex driver bits, this is another option to use them. I think this will work well and come in handy for me and hopefully it will work well for you too! After printing, glue a 6x2mm or 6x3mm magnet inside using the bit or a nail to insert it. I used a dab of E6000 glue, but super glue will also work. Just make sure you use it sparingly and insert the magnet carefully so there is not excessive glue that gets on the sidewalls as you insert it. You can add a second magnet to help fill in space if you only plan to use short bits. That will increase holding power as well. MembershipCommercial Sales subscriptions 💰 now available.
