Hex Insert for Funko Pop Hex Modular Display System

I loved the hex shelf design but wanted to change it up by adding a way to give the shelf frames a POP! of color instead of just my ugly wall showing through

Luluanaki did all the hard work in making an awesome modular display system....

I wanted to take it to the next level by adding a beveled Hexagon insert to give each shelf a customizable background. It's a tight fit, the idea is to print out this beveled hexagon in whatever color you want and pressure fit it into place. If after printing you find its too tight to fully snap into the hex shelves, just shave off a tiny amount around the perimeter until it snugly snaps into the hex shelf grid.

In my tests, the inserts fit snugly into the hexagon frames without needing glue. I prefer the look of having them snapped into place with the bevels facing outwards but the hex fits the shelf frame in either orientation.
