Simple ,small and efficient tolerance / clearance tester .
My goal was to desing a time and material saving testprint, since I couldn´t find anything like it on Thingiverse .
And certanly not for finer tollerances than 0.1mm .
Sizes are :
0.15mm , 0.1mm , 0.05mm
(with and without chamfer on the bottom to help against 1st layer influences)
Tipps/tricks:
#1
Before you consider this test you should have dialed in your flow, temperatures, speed, Pressure advance (also called linear advance ) and cooling.
#2
If you have problems with fine tollerances ,it can be helpfull to set *slicing tollerance* in Cura to *exclusive*.
#3
It can help to hold the finished part against a light source when its stuck, that way you can identify where its fused together and where not.
#4
Set your z-seams to be vertical aligned and oposinnextg tho each other , that way you can provocate the problems descripted under tip #5.
#5
Most of the time the z- seam (retract/unretract marks) are the problem
