1.70mm thickness to widen your wheelbase.
I would not make it thicker since you have less actual hex to turn the wheels around. This way your wheel hex can strip out , especially when using offroad tires with a lot of grip.
Fits perfect otherwise , I use it on a tamiya TT01 onroad chassis.
