These twisty puzzles are both based on the same core that turns around three axes similar to the way the Rubik's cheese wheel puzzle does. There are two different types of edges for this core, the normal edges and the split edges. With the normal edges the puzzle keeps its shape and can be solved in the same way a Rubik's cheese wheel puzzle is solved. The split edges cause some minor shapeshifting on the top and bottom layers and adds some extra difficulty to the puzzle. These two types of edges can be mixed together as well if you wish to do so.
three 16mm M3 screws are needed for the assembly of this puzzle
Most of this puzzle will print fine without supports except the main puzzle edge piece which will need them. And when printing the top tiles for the split edge pieces its best to flip half of them so that when you glue the tiles into the puzzle you can have the smooth side from the printer bed facing outwards on all the pieces
