The Idea I've always found myself needing shelving solutions that fit exactly the space and purpose I have in mind — not some fixed-size product from a store. The HexGrid Modular Shelf System was born from that frustration. The core idea is simple: a fully modular, 3D-printable shelf system built around a 200×200mm grid, where every single component snaps together without screws, glue, or tools. You design what you need, print what you need, and build exactly that — nothing more, nothing less. The hexagonal perforation pattern on the plates isn't just aesthetic. It significantly reduces print time and filament usage while keeping the plates rigid and giving the whole system a clean, modern look. How It Works All Plates have a depth of 120mm. Connectors extend slightly to 126mm — the extra 3mm on each side is what grips and clamps the Plates securely in place. This means your finished shelf will always be 126mm deep, regardless of configuration. The system is based on a 200×200mm grid.
