These gears are to help slow down the front tires. for every 1 turn of the front tires the rear will turn 1.75. should improve the drifitabiltiy.
I have not tested this, I do know the gear mesh is correct, not sure if they actually work in the machine. it is a modified version of my existing locked diff, so I know the sizing is correct.
