There are many great open source syringe pump systems out there (e.g. https://github.com/pachterlab/poseidon), but most are usually focused on moving exact quantities of liquids at relatively low flowrates.
I needed a design for moving air at relatively high prescribed flowrates - up to 10 L/min - in order to test some flowrate sensors. So, I made this design!

It's driven by a Nema 17 Stepper Motor with a GT2 pulley stage. The stage is adjustable and can accommodate a variety of pulley combinations to either increase or decrease the maximum flowrate / maximum pressure ratio.
