The “low poly” aesthetic is usually achieved by deconstructing the curves of an organic shape with angular facets, blurring the line between organic and geometric. This lamp goes the other way: it starts off with a geometric cube and then softens it with constructed facets to give it a rumpled look. It mostly looks like a crumpled paper bag that you've tried to punch back into shape.I've also included a base that can house a standard flush-mount A19 light fixture, but really, you could jam almost any type of light inside that you have handy. Just keep the wattage fairly low (5-6W?) so that it doesn't get too warm inside and make the shade start to sag.PrintingAs you can see from the last photo, it can be printed without supports because it has a built-in break-away base that holds it at 45 degrees for printing. The gap between the break-away base and lamp is designed for 0.2mm layer printing. If your bed adhesion is marginal, you might want to add a brim, but otherwise, it is fairly ea
