This realistic-looking smoke detector shell is actually a discreet two-part safe for storing cash, jewelry, or other valuables. The base mounts to the ceiling using screws, while the main body twists securely onto it with a hidden thread. It blends in naturally and keeps your items hidden in plain sight. Not a functioning smoke detector โ€“ for concealment only. So please don't replace your actual smoke detectors with this one ๐Ÿ˜‰.The slots and holes can be made black or dark by just using electrical tape for example (Save some precious filament). Edit: I added an additional Print-profile if you want to cover up the holes with an 3D-printed cover. Just use a dab of glue to fix it into place. Also read the description of the profile to get more info.
