This is OpenSCAD high voltage sliding variable capacitor generator. It allows you to specify number of plates, plate size, distance, sliding gap, etc. To be used inside magnetic loop antenna or antenna tuner.
This is based on my positive experience with previous capacitor QRO models, which were built by using FreeCAD and which were not customizable.
This is much more flexible, because it allows to generate capacitor based on size, maximum voltage and capacitance requirements.
**NB! Printed model requires post processing: either polish with sand paper or use acetone bath to smooth layers for better sliding. Print with 0.1 mm resolution! **
**NB! Generate and print tiny capacitor first to make sure all parameters are fine before printing larger model! Sliding gap will depend on your printer model and settings, prototype and tune first with small model. 0.3 mm sliding gap seems to be good enough to avoid any polishing. **
