anywho, you out the two pulleys in, insert toothpicks (2mm or there abouts) and glue the toothpicks in and cut them. then you run a string through them (Double the needed length) and glue a ball about 15mm past the middle of the string. Feed the longer end of the string in between the pole and the pulley and down into the corresponding holes in the base and the anchor and do likewise with the other side so that the string sticks through the bottom of the base and the ball is on the outside. then you can attach it to whatever mechanism you wish.

on the controls, Put the control wheel in place, and use a toothpick as a pivot. Then glue in the toothpick and cut. Run the string from the signal to wherever you will have it controlled, run it through the control, and tie it into a loop so it is taught, or relatively so.
