Hinge Jig for Door Jamb

Standard door hinge jigs don't work on all-in-one door jambs as the raised stop gets in the way. This little jig gets around that by straddling the stop.
I am fitting some new doors that only come as slabs - so I need to do all the drilling/routing for the locksets and hinges. I got some good Ryobi templates for both and they worked a treat until I tried to route out the hinges on the jambs. Because my door jambs came with the stops as part of the molding, the door stop prevented use of the standard jig I used for the hinge recesses on the door. I therefore 3D printed this little specialty fixture and it is working well for me. Unfortunately after a necessary rebuild my printer is still giving me problems but I managed to make a passable print for my purposes.
The rebate for setting your router depth should get you in the ballpark, but test on some scrap wood first and then adjust router height as necessary. To use, carefully align with your desired height on the jamb, p
