This is a hinged version of my "Purse Hook for Audi TT RS (2012)." The hinge allows the hook to fold up out of the way when there are passengers in the backseat of a sedan.
I used M6 heat-set inserts (https://www.mcmaster.com/#94180a371/=178412o) to add threads to the base ("Base Half (Heat-set inserts).stl"), but I've provided an alternative piece with integral M6 x 1 mm threads ("Base Half (Threaded).stl").
The Mounting Face clamps to the Base Half using two M6 x 1 mm x 20 mm cap screws (https://www.mcmaster.com/#91292a137/=17841eu) and 12 mm O.D. M6 washers (https://www.mcmaster.com/#93475a250/=17844va). The hinge pin is 6 mm (1/4") stainless steel or brass rod, 76 mm (3") long. I drew a plug to cover the hinge-pin hole, but never printed it. Instead, I filled the hole in with Bondo before I painted the whole thing matte black
The design uses 1/8" x 3/8" rare earth magnets (e.g., https://www.kjmagnetics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=D62-N52) to keep the hook folded, but I discove
