Hinged Violin Bow Guide (4/4 full size)

This bow guide clips onto the fingerboard to help keep the bow in the correct position when playing. This is intended to assist people with disabilities, injuries or other weakness in their bowing limb, by supporting some of the weight of the bow with a vertical rod, preventing the bow from sliding down the neck.

The print-in-place hinge allows for easy setup and storage without needing to remove it from the violin.

Mirrored versions are provided to allow for both right and left-handed bowing.

BowGuide-Base.stl can also be printed and attached to the bottom of the rod with some foam, rubber or other soft material, to reduce scraping noises.
