I made these designs to convert the LEO X axis to a linear rail system. 10mm of build height will be lost with this conversion.
Parts needed:
-Linear Rail & Block, 300mm, MGN12H (1 set)
-M3 x 8 Screws (12)
-M3 x 12 Screws (2)
-M3 T-Nuts (4)
-Print of 'Linear Rail Bracket' (1)
-Print of 'Linear Rail Top Brace' (1)
-Print of 'Linear Rail Belt Brace' (1)
-Print of 'Linear Rail Alignment Tool' (3)
The photos included show where all the parts go.
Assembly notes:
-I used 4 screws in the rail, evenly spaced. When installing the rail I use 3 alignment tools, 1 on each end and one in the middle. The tool has a hole in the middle to allow an Allen driver into the screw under the tool.
-Installation order should be: Bracket, Top Brace, Belt Brace.
-Installing the belt brace will be a little tight. Slide the hotend out of the way. Install the belt into the brace. Hold the belt brace up against the aluminum extrusion. Slide the hotend back in place in front of it, an
