Slide the key into the hive bodies and allows more ventilation during hot summer months! This is especially useful for hives without screened bottom boards. The first two sections of the key are common thicknesses to meet your ventilation needs. The final, thickest part of the key is intended as a means to provide an additional entrance during a nectar flow and direct access to the honey super. The pictures are attached to show the 3 different settings for the key. The key is stepped with 3 common measurements found in beekeeping #1: Popsicle stick (or penny thickness)#2: Qty 2 popsicle sticks#4: 3/8" (bee space) Enjoy!
