HM800 Customizable Front Plate

This is a customizable front plate for the blank HM800 module for use in the Hameg modular system series 8000. A HM800 blank module includes a plastic front plate, but it is a tedious process to cut out holes for display- or control-elements.

So I created a printable front plate which can be customized in FreeCAD. The process of cutting rectangular openings or round holes is so much easier and less messy in the digital domain. This design differs from the standard front plate in the area of connecting structures, to make them more sturdy in the printed part. The handle is also included as a separate file.

The source files for FreeCAD are included, also an example of a current project which I'm doing with a cutout for a 2.8" TFT display shield with a mounted Arduino board.
