This is my NEW Yard Light Tower.
This tower requires patience to assemble, but looks great when you finish.
1. I used PLA for all the parts. Use Black for the Light Shrouds to ensure no light leaks. They can be repainted on the outside afterwards if you like.
2. The tower prints in 4 parts that need careful alignment and gluing to look good.
3. Pull two brass rods (.032in .081mm) through the holes before assembling the tower to make it easier later.
4. I used 3mm prewired (including resistor) LEDs. (See picture of example)
5. I located the LEDs into the light shrouds then glued them where they looked the best.
6. I put the light shrouds with the LEDs into the tower top. I did not glue them so I could rotate them.
7. Cut the wires short as possible Solder the wires to the rods, and jamb everything into the top.
8. When successful, glue the top on.
9. At the bottom of the tower I soldered lead wires (Red and Black) to the rods then attached the base.
10. I made the base a roun
