Hobie Cassette plug

The Hobie Cassette Plug is used to fill mirage drive opening when the Mirage Drive is not in use. The plug is not intended to completely seal the opening, only to stop splashes and any gear from falling through the opening when the Mirage Drive is not being used. Opening remains to allow water to continue to self-drain from the cockpit area.

Assembly:
Print both ends with holes orientated down.
3 alignment dowel pins will be needed
2 side pins will be needed

- The pins will need to be press fit into the openings for the best fitment. Multiple sizes are included in the download. I used the 19.80 alignment pins and 10.00 side pins for my printer tolerances. -

Firstly, the two halves and alignment pins need assembled and glued.

After that is set, the side pins can be glued and set into place.

I printed the body and alignment pins at 3 walls with 10% infill to save weight. The side pins at 3 walls with 40% infill.
