This modular hold down clamp is designed to be extremely rigid. The interchangeable head is designed to pull tighter as the clamp body is snugged down. Each clamp head is sized in increments of 1/8" with 1/16" removed to allow for sufficient clamping. For example, if you have ¼" material you can use the ¼" (.250) clamp head and it will clamp down firmly. Benefits of this modular design:Print fewer clamp bodies and swap head sizes for the material used.If you cut into a clamp head, it is safe for the bit, and you can easily and quickly print a new head instead of an entire clamp. The design of the slide attachment is extremely rigid making the clamp and head feel as one. No slop.Flexibility to add more head types for specialized materials. The clamp body is set up to be printed with central layers slowed down to prevent layer anomalies around the slot. This barely impacts print time. Current design is for 5/16" bolts or smaller. The included knobs are designed for a 5
