Holographic Effect Alien Specimen Jar

Take your collection to the outer reaches of 3D printing with this eerie specimen jar featuring a floating alien skeleton! Crafted using my custom pseudo-holographic technique, the jar silhouette and alien bones are formed with one-wall-thick zig-zag lines that shift and shimmer when you tilt the model. There’s a built-in pause at layer five so you can do a color swap—try a lighter filament for the skeleton and a darker filament for the jar to emphasize the creepy floating effect. Despite its detailed look, the model prints relatively quickly. I designed it using the same custom made computer program behind my other holographic-effect models.
