Hoover 3000 tool flange

This is an untested attempt at an adapter to allow the attachment of a Hoover CH3000 commercial canister vacuum to an object with a flat surface.

The CH3000 is a small lunchbox size unit that comes with a shoulder strap. The intended application is to allow me to use it for dust collection with the miniature table saw i use to cut circuit boards and other small objects. I will attach it over the cleanout port on the side of the saw.

The dimensions were taken from the crevice attachment. The design isn't an exact match because the pin on the original accessories is tapered at the bottom and is sometimes followed by a tab that doesn't appear to be functional but may serve to reinforce the pin. I suspect that this model will work well enough as is, but as i get the hang of 3d design i may refine it, particularly if it breaks.

I intend to attach it to the saw with double-sided tape. Magnetic attachment is a possible future refinement but they would need to be pretty strong magn
