Here's an adapter I designed for sewing machines with a 5mm pin slot that adapts the vertical spool holder to horizontal in order to reduce thread catching. The default print profile is for PETG and includes washers to keep the spool on the rod. The model is printed at an angle, with supports, and with 100% infill, to increase durability.
