NOTE: DO NOT USE COATED NAILS/SCREWS OR STAINLESS STEEL FOR YOUR ELECTRODES. FIND PLAIN CARBON STEEL NAILS OR OTHER PLAIN CARBON STEEL. THIS IS TO AVOID HEXAVALENT CHROMIUM EXPOSURE.

I printed mine out of polycarbonate. I'm not happy with the way it cooks hot dogs. I think with how small and cheap microwaves have gotten, electric hot dog cookers have become obsolete.

After 90 seconds the cooking process will be complete. The resistance of the hot dog increases as it is cooked. At the end of the cooking process there will be no current flow, so any additional time will not make the hot dog warmer. This is probably best used as an educational tool.

Have fun!
