I used some heat shrink tubing to fix my led strip because I can't trust the double sided tape of my ultra cheap strip and because the surface may not be smooth enough. But if you print the piece lie down on the led surface, it may be smooth enough to glue the strip on it, recommended only if you have good setting for bridge.
