I wanted to be able to race two cars together. Other start gates I had seen all required various screws and other hardware, an I was trying to minimize this one to household items.
This prints in two parts: the track, and the flipper. There are retaining holes for a spring. Use one from a click pen. The parts are secured together with a pin, which is made from a cut piece of metal wire clothes hanger.
This part is stiffer and better quality than the single car gate that Mattel makes, but is of similar design.
