I love electric vehicles so when I had the chance to get my hands on couple of hoverboards for free I couldn't say no. Unfortunately, none of the batteries worked. No worries! I'll figure out my own solution! That said, to test any of said solutions, I need a way to test the motor.I search for hoverboard motor mounts across the interwebs and found nothing that quite fit my needs, so I designed my own! The clamp was designed to fit the hoverboard motors that I have, but they may not fit yours. No problem, though, since you can find the TinkerCad project here. Copy it and make it your own! For the clamping bolts, I used 3/8 in hex bolts and nuts. For those of the metric persuasion, M9 is the closest size. The holes themselves are 10mm so you COULD use an M10 for an extra snug fit, but I don't know if the nuts would fit properly. The mounting screw holes at the base were designed with coarse thread #6 Drywall screws in mind, but any screw with a diameter under 5mm will fit jus
