HP41 calculators from 1980s are prone to failure of the connection between the keyboard assembly and processor board, which is normally achieved with a flexible or zebra connector. As the contact relies on pressure provdied by plastic screws through the case, and the posts are prone to stripping/cracking, this is a common source of failure of these calulators (which can appear as anything from keys not working, display garbled or absent, or expansion modules not working).
I've developed a solution replacing the zebra/flex with these contacts available online:

**Type:** FDX0029A1
**Quantity:** 32 required; but you will lose/ruin a few, so get 50x
These contacts are soldered directly onto the 32 keyboard PCB contacts, replacing the zebra, which is approx 1.5mm assembled.
As this part might not be available forever, critical dimensions are:
Width: 1.5mm
Length: 3.5mm
Height: minimum =1.6mm. Working height (if s
