Update 03-02-2026: Finally managed to print grids for both sides and respective inserts. Added some pictures.
Update 26-01-2026: The adapter blocks and covers function quite well on my prototype. I have been working in making a customized HSW grid, including outer rims, that fit as good as possible the whole side walls of the Q2. This took me some effort, as I had to design parametric parts for the base grid and outer rims. To be able to use the same grid assembly on both sides (left and right) the grid requires an uneven number of columns. This forced me to make 4 (slightly) different grid parts. I considered to integrate the rim geometries into these grid parts but some of them were too big for the Q2 (by about 3.5mm...). I added the new parts to his project. Check the ZIP file for the STEP files and HSW side wall for Q2.3mf for easy printing.
I am currently printing it.
Following the Qidi Q2 riser (link) design, some HSW compatible inserts (tool supports, boxes, trays, etc.) c
