HSW Blank Insert CAD model

This is a FreeCAD model of a Honeycomb Storage Wall (HSW) grid insert. It is for using with FreeCAD to add HSW features to models using part geometry rather then an HSW mesh. It was reverse engineered from the STL files of the original inserts (hence the remix). The interior dimension does not match the HSW plain hexagon insert, it is simply to save on material. The included print profile for PETG prints a test grid and an insert, which provides a nice snug fitment. As all measurements within the part are exact, this file can be used to recover dimensions for designing HSW inserts in other programs. Building or attaching parts off the flat surface of this model should yield a part which fits securely into an HSW grid. It is still recommend printing the test part and grid first (they print fast) for your own model and printer settings - the model is constraint based so editing in FreeCAD is fairly easy.
