The HTC Vive mounts and Lighthouses are great but not so great looking if you leave them out all the time. I needed a quick way to mount and demount them from the wall when we weren’t doing things in VR. We wanted a more unobtrusive installation that safely held the Lighthouses but allowed for quick setup and takedown. I made a quick mount mounting bracket that attaches to the wall and a slide-in part that the Lighthouse mount affixes to. There is also a logo plate to put back in the bracket when the Lighthouses aren’t in place to make the bracket less noticeable, and a completely blank plate if you would rather.
Depending on your printer, there may be some sticking between the slides and the bracket at first. I put in some clearance to reduce that but you also want a secure fit so that the Lighthouses don't vibrate or shift. You might want to "wear in" and ver
