Hueforge Butterfly

Hueforge Butterfly. Colors are printed with filament changes. No AMS or multicolor option needed. If you use the .3mf file, pauses have been programmed at the proper layers. Normally Hueforge prints need specific filaments to get the desired effect. I designed this one a little differently so that it will work with a wider range. Most any black pla will work and the magenta can be substituted with a wide selection of your favorite colors. I advise using Bambu Jade white to be sure that blending works well, but you may be able to get away with other whites as well. This is a tiny bit thicker than standard settings so it can be easily handled. If you need to resize, please be sure to NOT resize on the Z axis as that will change the layering. Please don't be alarmed if the stl looks strange, it will slice and print just fine. Depending on your computer, slicing may take some extra time. Please be patient.   Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.16mm Filaments Used: PLA Kingroon Black Transmission Distance: 0.4 PLA BambuLab Basic Magenta Transmission Distance: 5 PLA BambuLab Basic Jade White Transmission Distance: 5 Swap Instructions: Start with Black At layer #17 (1.44mm) swap to Magenta At layer #25 (2.08mm) swap to Jade White for the rest.
