these Humbucker pickup covers allow your guitar's sound to be warmer, and also protects your guitars pickups. you are going to have to put the covers on when the guitar is tuned wayyyyyy down to the point that the strings dont even resemble a note and are floppy like spagghetti, or when you dont have strings on the guitar. you need to put the covers on so that the screw part of the pickups are on the side of the cover with the holes in it.
