Humming bird feeder drip stop mod

As the sun warms this style of humming bird feeder the internal air expands and the sugar water drips out of the flowers and on to the ground or in my case the stairs.

May 2021 added revised STL. Snip a V shape in the print lip and create 4 notches to prevent the print from from ever sealing (forming a valve) to bottle lip. Converted to a vertical snorkel vent tube see pic. Heated the SS tube and pushed through the bottom. Use a sealant if needed.

This print is an inverted cup which is vented (see hose in pics) and both ends of the hose are always (or need to be) in the air. The sugar water level in the inverted cup and the flower tubes will always be the same height. The inverted cup creates extra expansion space for the sugar water when the feeder is warmed by the sun which reduces/eliminates dripping.
