Hummingbird Cuckoo Clock

I had a cuckoo clock as a boy but wasn't very good about winding it so it was always announcing the wrong time. I have constructed a clock around an inexpensive mechanism that I found on Amazon. Be sure to use that particular mechanism or it won't work. The first clock I designed had a hummingbird theme and was given to a granddaughter in Thailand where they don't have any hummingbirds. The second clock was designed with a bat theme. They are the same size and use the same instructions.
