Models for replacement 'flute' lamp shades for Argos/Homebase Hyatt lamp.
Note that you MUST use an LED bulb with this shade as the halogen bulbs will get too hot and potentially cause a fire!
Note that it is recommended that the prints are done with minimal travels outside of the shade body - this means using the "Avoid Crossing Perimeters" or "Keep within Body" option of your slicer - the prints take longer but the quality is much better.
Use with a 1.5W Cool White bulb and transparent filament for a good reading light, or use with white filament for a softer light.
The combination of the layering lines and the cylinder resolution generates a good "rip-stop" type effect when printing - this looks particularly nice with the white filament, which results in a nice soft warm glow (even with a cool white bulb).
The clear filament creates a nice distorting / lensing effect for the bulb - see the photos for examples.
Unlike the glass bulbs, these models also have a series
