Hydraulic Press Lighting System

This is a powerfull lighting system I made for my 12T hydraulic press but it fits onto any press made from steel C-channel measuring 1.5 x 3.0 inches. (see https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7249289 for other improvements of hydraulic press) .

This lighting system is made out of a 80mm car/motorcycle auxiliary white LED headlight ring from AliExpress (search for "Halo Rings", typically around than 5$). These are super bright and provide uniform lighting.

The main difference in this version is that I didn’t use the clear lens that normally goes over the LED ring. Instead, I glued the LED ring directly to the 3D-printed holder without lens. Use cyanocrylate gel or use with epoxy for more durability.

I decided not to include a dedicated power supply, since the one on the Dremel workstation isn’t used often. Instead, both projects share the same power so
