This vertical hydroponic greenhouse was designed and built entirely by 3D printing with the aim of creating a sustainable, compact and automated growing system perfect for use at home or in small urban spaces such as balconies or terraces.The structure is based on a vertical column module composed of cylindrical sections, each equipped with slanted holes with 3D printed plant housings. These housings allow direct insertion of sponges or containers with hydroponic substrates, optimizing space and water flow.At the base is a reservoir that holds water and nutrients, from which a 5V pump-easily available on Amazon-power the system. Pump operation is automated via an Arduino board, which I programmed to turn the pump on for 20 minutes and off for 1 hour in a continuous cycle.
