A simple spacer to keep my BLTouch from crashing into the motor mount and Z rod brackets when using the standard Hypercube Evolution setup instead of the NGEN.
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4695196 Hemera for HEVO NGEN BLTouch 5010 fan blower, fan duct is awesome. Although, I don't use it with the NGEN but regular Hypercube Evolution and the mounting plate from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4022433
However, with this setup I found the BLTouch would crash into the motor mount. I had to add this spacer to prevent that. It should be noted that I'm using TMC2209s with sensorless homing. I don't know if it's needed for those using mechanical endstops.
The holes are for a couple zip ties. This just makes it snug and keeps it from rattling around. I put the spacer over the rod away from the Y carriage then add the zip ties loosely. This way the spacer can be rotated upside down when inserting the zip ties. Then after sliding the spacer in place I use my pliers to tighten the z
