This thing is to flexible adjust an optical Z endstop on a Hypercube evolution. Main reason for the design was:
On my Hypercube Evolution with dual Z (https://www.thingiverse.com/make:532085) I experienced both stepper do not run exactly synchron which caused issues with the first layer after a print was done. Therefore after every print I needed to check the bed leveling on each side which was time consumption. With an endstop on each side the printer now levels itself with homing the Z axis. You simply adjust the endstop flag to the right height for your hotend on each side in the homed Z position and that's it. Next time its done automatically with the homing procedure.
To mount the optical endstop I used the endstop mount from this thing: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2512807
So why to design a new one?
I use an E3D v5 clone which is a bit larger than the v6 and the mentioned thing doesn't fit on mine and I needed one on the left side. Of course I wanted to exercise
