My remix adds a VL53L1X laser sensor to brooksben11's "Motion-Triggered Hypnotoad with Sound"...

The VL53L1X I used fits this case perfectly but I did enlarge the opening for the sensor slightly.
( Note: in the photo, I left the sensor cover temporarily unpainted to make it easier to see )
To protect the wiring that runs to the sensor I made a bottom plate that can be glued to the bottom of the rock.
Rather than use brooksben11's motion sensor electronics I instead set up the laser sensor to act as a Raspberry Pi theremin using rbnrpi's writeup at...
