DIY Precision Screwdriver & Bit Holder ( I-FIXIT ) After losing my iFixit screwdriver, I decided to design and print my own. This project includes a simple screwdriver body and a compact bit holder that can be easily printed and assembled.Magnets The screwdriver is designed to use small magnets to hold the bit in place.Magnet size: 5 mm diameter, 1 mm thicknessInsert 2–3 magnets into the slot in Part 1 (the screwdriver body). The exact number depends on the final position of the pipe. Simply test how many magnets work best so that Part 2 (the pipe) sits correctly and does not stick out. Once you find the correct number: Insert the magnets into Part 1. Apply a small amount of super glue. Push Part 2 (the pipe) fully into the screwdriver body until everything sits flush.Bit Holder Fit The bit holder is designed with tight tolerances so that the bits stay securely in place. If a bit is too tight:Carefully warm the bit slightly with a lighter (not the holder, since it is made of plastic). T
